| Cottage Industries began in a little red cottage in the coastal town of Westport, Connecticut. Now located in Los Angeles, Cottage Industries is an independent graphic design studio specializing in print and web design for the cultural and academic sector, non-profits and small businesses, including: Otis College of Art and Design, The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Mercy Corps, The Westport Arts Center, NetAid and Benchmark Information Technology. Erin Hauber is the principal designer at Cottage Industries and Assistant Adjunct Professor in Communication Arts at Otis College of Art and Design. She studied graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in Minneapolis, MN before working as a designer for non-profit arts organizations in Minneapolis and Connecticut. Erin has been obsessed with early modern and mid-century architecture since her undergraduate days at the University of Wisconsin studying architectural history.
